"Changing One Life At A Time"
The Sabrina Black Foundation along with Buddy's Pizza held a fundraiser during the month of September 2008.  During that time frame, if you purchased a Detroiter Pizza from Buddy's, a portion of the proceeds went to The Sabrina Black Foundation.  Buddy's Pizza invited The Foundation to their location in Farmington on Saturday October 4th, 2008 for a check presentation as a result of the promotion.  On that day, Buddy's presented The Sabrina Black Foundation with a check for $500, as well as taking care of the pizza and salad tab for all assembled that day!

The bonus for The Foundation was this event allowing for the announcement of two new patient adoptions!  The Sabrina Black Foundation formally adopted Henry Starr from Canton & Jane Maaz from Livonia!

On a sad note, our first cancer patient, Laura Alexiou, died the day following the event.  This was a complete surprise, as she was at the check presentation, and was the life of the party.  You can leave thoughts and get more information on Laura at Legacy.com.
